My Style
I am a qualified BACP member working in accordance to the ethical framework. I work primarily in a person centered integrative approach this means I may offer elements of other approaches and theories to adapt to your unique journey. I believe healing can be messy and it is not linear and it’s my privilege to sit in the mess with you as I believe healing happens in connection not isolation.
My Experience
Throughout my time as a counsellor – alongside other roles and development, I have worked with, but am not limited to, working with adults and children with:
Neurodiversity
Addiction
Depression
Anxiety
Trauma
Bereavement
Gender specific issues
Relationship troubles
Learning difficulties
LGBTQIA + issues
More About Me
I was drawn to therapy because I wanted to become the person to others that I once needed in the hope of ‘being the change I want to see in the world.’ I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most healing part of therapy, which is why it is important that if you choose to work with me, you feel that I am the right fit for you.
As a therapist, I aim to be as adaptable as possible to support you. I believe that regardless of how lost you may be feeling, you know what is best for you and you are the master of your own body, mind and life.
Therefore, by using this approach, I am putting you in control of your own destiny, and I will be there to support you however you feel is best throughout this journey.
